Our founders, Tammy and Tania, are Registered Psychologists, Registered Play Therapists, and most importantly, moms. The Institute of Child Psychology was created by a shared passion to empower parents and caregivers to help children lead emotionally healthy lives. Our mission is to empower caregivers (ie, parents, teachers, therapists, social workers, psychologists) by giving them pertinent insights, skills, and tools necessary to help children thrive. We use an attachment lens; meaning we believe that the source of most children's difficulties lies with-in the context of their relationships with their attachment figures.
